Charles Schwab to Host Full-Day Trading Forum in Dallas, TX

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. today announced the second in its series of 2008 Trading Forums, which underscores its ongoing commitment to trader education. The Forum will be held on Saturday, March 15, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Hilton Anatole, 2201 Stemmons Freeway, in Dallas, Texas.

Schwab's Trading Forums, which are held several times a year around the country, are free events, open to the general public and not limited to Schwab clients. The Dallas Forum features CNBC Fast Money Contributor, Pete Najarian, who will deliver the keynote address, "The Ins and Outs of Wall Street and the Latest Market Turbulence." Attendees will also attend workshops on a variety of topics, which include finding potential stock opportunities in a volatile market, using risk management strategies and technical analysis.

Charles Schwab Trading Forums educate active traders on ways to sharpen their trading and investing skills. Attendees can test-drive many of Schwab's trading and investing tools as well as spend time with Schwab's trading specialists. These day-long events provide traders with a unique opportunity to hear from Schwab and third-party investing experts, attend workshops and educational panels, and interact with fellow traders in their area.

"We recognize that active traders are looking for ways to become more disciplined, hedge risk and hone their skills, especially in today's volatile market environment," said Schwab Active Trading Vice President Rich Levine. "Investing just a few hours at a Schwab Forum could go a long way toward developing better risk management techniques, learning new trading strategies, and improving portfolio performance."
